Joint Venture Audits and Joint Venture Accounting are without a doubt a common business requirement for exploration and production companies.  Finding a firm with the right combination of approach, judgment, and results can be a challenge.  4A Energy Advisors deliver it all!  As president of 4A, my goal is to provide a reliable, efficient, and focused team to meet joint venture audit and accounting demands, as well as other types of contract compliance reviews.

Subsequent to my departure from Burlington Resources as a result of the Conoco/Phillips acquisition, and because of my desire to provide this industry service, I founded 4A Energy Advisors LLC in July 2007.  Each member of our team has over 25 years of experience in oil and gas contract compliance reviews related to drilling & exploration, lease operating expenses, revenue, pipeline, and vendors.  We also have experience with both international oil and gas contract compliance reviews and international accounting practices.  Additionally, I personally oversee, either directly or indirectly, every contract compliance review we perform and examine every finished work product to ensure consistency prior to rapid delivery for our clients.

My over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry as a Joint Venture Auditor/Audit Coordinator have been spent at Oryx Energy Company, Union Pacific Resources and Burlington Resources.  I served in leadership positions on the COPAS National Audit Committee from 2005 through 2011.  At that time, I was elected by COPAS membership to the National Board of Directors and currently serve as President.
